Graduation Photography - Students

Last Minute Questions?

My institution appointed Ekslusiv as the official ceremony photographer, do I need to book an appointment?

  • No. We will be ready to take your photographs 2 hours before the ceremony, and we will also be available 1 hour after the ceremony. So even if you or your guests are running late, we will be there to take your photograph.

Do I need a form, or do I have to register before the ceremony?

  • No. We will have order forms available at the ceremony. You also do not need to fill the form or register before the ceremony. All students crossing the stage will be photographed regardless of whether a form was filled or not. Even if you are running late, if you cross the stage, you will be photographed. If you are running so late that you miss your moment to cross the stage but get to the venue while we are still busy, we can still photograph you in our family / guest studio after the ceremony, obviously you will not have a stage photo if this happens.

The graduation department sent me a white order form and I forgot / lost it, what must I do?

  • Do not worry. This form was sent only for your convenience. We will have order forms available at the ceremony. You also do not need to fill the form or register before the ceremony.

Picture Taking Procedure

We will be ready to take your photographs 2 hours before the ceremony, and we will also be available 1 hour after the ceremony.

To order photographs, bring your money and order at the ceremony, order forms will be available at the ceremony. We have tables with samples of what is available. There is no need to register or order or pay before you arrive at the ceremony.

There are 2 forms to be aware of:

White form:

  • This form is sometimes sent to you by the graduation department. It will show the prices of the photos and special offer. You can fill your personal details in peace and quiet while relaxed and then bring the form with you to the ceremony. It saves you from having to fill the personal details at the ceremony, saving you time. This is done only for your convenience. You do not need to bring your own form; forms will be available at the ceremony. You also do not need to hand this form in before the ceremony, you can hand it in afterwards if you would like to order photos.

Pink form:

  • This form is used for:

    • Family / Guest photographs
    • Family / Guest photograph horizontal
    • Couple photographs
    • The ‘special scroll portrait’
    • A full-length photo of yourself
  • This form is only handed out after you have taken one of the above photos. It is linked directly to your photo/s.

Once you have ordered and paid for your photos at the ceremony, you can expect to receive your order after 4 weeks.

The procedure to have your photographs taken is as follow:

There are two queues for photographs at the ceremony:

1. The queue at the cashiers (a row of tables)

Photo of a table with sample images with cashiers left and clients to the right filling order forms.

2. The queue at the family / guest studio (lights and a backdrop)

Photo of a photographer in front of a backdrop with a line of people at a temporary family studio.

If you ONLY want the "special" package, like this one ↓ ** Then join the queue at the cashiers. **

Photo package is shown with the standard stage photograph and the standard head and shoulder portrait.

These are the default ceremony photographs (a stage photo and a head and shoulder portrait, 2 unique photos printed as A4 with 6 smaller prints).

These are taken during the ceremony and work as follows:

  1. When you are being draped or receive a handshake, a stage photograph will be taken.
  2. When you leave the stage, before you take your seat, a portrait photograph will be taken.

However,

If you want ANY of these photographs ↓ ** Join the queue at the family / guest studio first. **

    • Family / Guest photographs
    • Family / Guest photograph horizontal
    • Couple photographs
    • The ‘special scroll portrait’
    • A full-length photo of yourself

After one of these photographs have been taken, you will receive a pink form.

Now you can join the queue at the cashiers and hand in your white and pink forms with the correct money.

Please note: You do not have to join the queue at the studio for your ceremony portrait photograph as this is taken during the ceremony in our backstage portrait studio.

If you get to the ceremony in the nick of time, do not worry, you can do all of this after the ceremony. The default package photos are taken regardless of whether the photos were ordered or not. You can order it later.

Finally, remember to smile!
